Angel Perozo Sosa — Medical Billing Advocate
Lead Medical Billing Advocate | MedicalBillReview.net
Hi, my name is Angel Perozo Sosa. I created this website because of something I went through personally. I went to the ER and later received a medical bill for about $4,000. What shocked me wasn't only the amount — it was the fact that no one could clearly explain why it was so high. I called, I asked questions, and I still felt like I was getting vague answers.
So I did what most people end up doing: I tried to figure it out myself.
I started learning how medical bills work — things like itemized charges, billing codes, facility fees, insurance adjustments, and what you can actually question. The more I learned, the more I realized something important: a lot of people are confused because they don't understand the bill. They're overwhelmed, scared, or don't know what to ask.
That's why I built this site. My mission is simple: help you understand your bill in plain English, know what's normal (and what's not), and feel confident taking the next step — whether that's requesting details, disputing something that looks wrong, or getting help reviewing it.
